Lucy Rose | Lines 

English singer-songwriter Lucy Rose is pushing all the right musical buttons with me. She has a lovely, sleepily beautiful voice, but she’s got fire in her, both on her head and in her songs. Both “Lines” (above) and “Bikes” (her most recent song/video) start dreamily, but ramp up by the chorus, and both are really, really good.

The videos for both are quite different, with “Lines” featuring the lovely red-head traipsing through equally lovely scenery  and “Bikes” finding Rose’s inner biker bad ass unleashing itself (note: don’t laugh at cute girls asking for milk in bars). 

Rose’s debut album Like I Used to is out now and I’m going to be grabbing a copy soon.
